The man of the moment in Ghana, the quintessential investigative media personnel and radio impresario, NYANSABOAKWA Wisdom has been invited by 3 prominent educational and community development insitutions based in  the United States of America to tour the country as Ghana's community media and cultural ambassador in September, 2011.  The program which is codenamed-CREATING AND BRIDGING CULTURAL DIVIDE IN AN EMERGING DIGITAL AGE.....Nyansa will stay in the United for 4 months. Life is a journey that starts with birth. Wisdom Agodze was born on the 26th day of November 1983 at the komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Bantama in KumasiNyansaboakwa as all my fans call me was born, bread and trained in Kumasi Bantama ( kumasi Kokurokoo, Bantama ne Pannin) meaning as big as Kumasi is, bantama is the oldest. I started my early childhood education at the of seven (7) at the New Bantama M/A Primary School near Abripo Junction in 1990. Seven years later, I entered the Junior High School which was New Bantama Block "A" J.S.S I successfully completed in 2000. It was difficult for my family to send me to the Senior Secondary school. At the age of eighteen, I had to find my way to succeed in life. I learned shoe making, and within six months I could make men and ladies slippers from leather. But I realized it was not my field. Meanwhile, I was having a God given talent which was practically in me that is poem writing and singing. I left the shoe making job and joined the centre for National Culture to lean more and enhance my God given talent. I wrote my first poem in primary five (5) dubbed, " Onyame Aye bi" I attended a lot of inter-school culture, Poetry, singing and Dance competitions from 1995 to 1999. I met an Ashanti in the person of Kwame Asuo who was working at the Centre for national Culture (C. N. C) Kumasi, who saw what I had in me and directed me as how to write sorrowful poems, appellations and flute playing. I used two years to become an expert in flute playing, cultural dance, and drumming, which was from 2000 to 2002.I therefore used the opportunity to teach in many school in the region namely, New Bantama Block "A" J.S.S, State Girls' M/A school, Kofi Adjei secondary school, Armed Forces secondary school, Cambridge International school, Modfat Children Centre, Tanaso, Kyekyebease Primary school Konongo, Owoman cultural Troup, New Adubaisi and many other schools and organizations. In 2003, I gained a lot of skills in cultural activities relating to Ghana. I started making a leaving with the little means I was making through teaching. The best I did was training as young as six 96) years kids to perform cultural dance. Meanwhile, i was still thinking about my education after staying for four year. A friend, Nana Kusi Mensah who was a news caster on Kyzz 89.7 fm in Kumasi giving them the update and count down to the event. Afer my narration on air, the editor called me and said I am a good narrator so he ask me if I could come to Takoradi for orientation so I will start reading Akan news for Kyzz 89.7 fm. After a year, I was given an attachment letter from Pan-African Media and Business Institute (P A M B I). I returned to Kumasi to start my Practical attachment with mercury 91.5 fm now New mercury. Starting from the news room under the leadership of Mr. Felix Fokuo (news editor),I learned how to rewrite stories, translate from the English to Akan, reading with good voice and reporting from story scenes. After three month of practical experience, my news editor promoted me to the position of senior reporter. Four month later I received my Testimonial letter but was compelled to stay and support both the News room and the programme department, with production and investigation which I did over seven months. I became the Executive Producer for a programme dubbed "NSEM PII" under the host Abesiwa, and also the Executive producer for Ashanti Gospel top ten, a musical show on Sunday mooning under the host Osomafuo Kin Bruse. Notwithstanding that radio Mercury to me was a learning ground in the field of radio. After a short time, my host of NESM PII got a new contract with FOX 97.9 fm, Abesiwa ask me to join him at FOX 97.9 fm which I deemed another opportunity to explore my God given talent. He was given 8:00pm to 10:00pm on Mondays to Fridays for his show dubbed "Kyenkyen bi adi mawu" which with my experience, I became the executive producer of the show. With my poetic skills, any opportunity given me on air, my performance surprised the administration of FOX 97.9 fm. While doing all these, I kept thinking about how I could educate myself through the secondary school system and even beyond. I made enquires and enrolled in Kumasi Workers College in September 2007, offering General Arts. Our programme was later changed from evening shift to morning shift which I was given twice a week to host 10:00pm to 12 noon on Thursdays and Fridays; that was November 2007. My show generated a lot of listeners for the house. In January 2008, I was employed and transferred to a sister station of FOX 97.9 fm in Kumasi to HOT (#.(fm in Accra. On the first Monday of February 2008, I started my programme from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. The programme was dubbed "NSEM PII" which i have as an N.G.O, helping the helpless society. The programme attracted a lot of listeners from all walks of life and generated a lot of sponsors. Because of the transfer, I wasn't able to complete my secondary education Workers College in Kumasi. In Accra, the job was more demanding, making it difficult for me to enroll in any second cycle institution. Finally, I joined Abundant Grace Academy and wrote the Nov/Dec WASSCE exam in 2009. I used six month to read Government, History, Economics, English, Mathematics and Integrated Science and came out in flying colures. My reason of reading General Arts was to enter school of performing Arts which I am in the process to enter the University of Ghana, Legon. I made a change in studio two years later. On the 1st of March, I moved from HOT 93.9 fm to Sena 104.7 fm in Ashaiman- Tema. A month after I was compelled to move to Happy 98.9 fm at Asylum down in Accra. I am single but not searching. Religiously, I am a Christian and was a member of Christ Apostolic Church but now with In Him is Life Church International at Ofankor-Accra under the leadership of Rev. Isaac Opoku. I hail from the Volta region of Ghana. I speak Ewe (Mother language), Agbeve is my home town and my mother is from Vume near Sogakope. I speak quit a number of languages - English, Twi, Ewe, Frafra and Hausa. I am 5 feet 2" tall, chocolate in complexion, Flat stomach and standard. i love reading, dancing, drumming, flute playing, writing of poems teaching and driving. I have the spirit of helping people in need. My favorite colours are violet and mauve.
